At the table

Once the Host approves you, you're seated and the next hand deals you in.

Acting on a hand

When the action is on you, you have the standard set of moves — fold, check, call, bet, or raise. You see your hand, the community cards as they come, and the current bet to match.

Each decision has an action timer — a countdown that starts when it's your turn. If you don't act before it expires, the system folds you. The timer applies to every decision, including the showdown.

Your actions during a hand are off-chain: real-money or Free Play, while a hand is in progress nothing is being signed by your wallet. The blockchain only sees the result of the hand once it settles.

Sit out and come back

If you need a break — bathroom, phone call, doorbell — click sit out. You stay seated and your stack stays at the table, but you're dealt out of upcoming hands. When you're ready, click I'm back to rejoin the next deal.

Sitting out is the right move for short breaks. For longer ones, leave the table cleanly and rejoin later.

Chat

Every table has a text chat among seated players. Use it for table talk or whatever culture the table runs on. Free Play and real-money tables both have chat.

Between hands

Between hands, real-money tables briefly show an on-chain settlement indicator while the contract receives the previous hand's outcome. It's normally instant — by the time the next deal starts, settlement is done. The indicator links through to the transaction on Basescan if you want to verify a specific hand.

Free Play tables don't have this — nothing settles on-chain.

Leaving the table

When you're done, click leave between hands (you can't leave mid-hand — finish the current one first). The contract grants you withdrawal permission and you click withdraw to pull your stack back to your wallet. Full walkthrough on Withdrawals.

Coming soon

A few additions are in the works:

  • Run it twice (and more) — for all-in pots that get to the river, the remaining cards run multiple times to reduce variance.
  • More table features as we build them.
