Get USDC on Base
To play at real-money tables, you need USDC in your wallet on the Base network. Stacked doesn't have an in-app onramp yet, so for now you'll bring USDC from somewhere else.
What you need
- USDC — the stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the US dollar.
- On Base — the Ethereum-based network Stacked runs on. USDC on other networks (mainnet Ethereum, Polygon, etc.) won't work for real-money tables until you bridge or swap it onto Base.
Common paths today
A few ways to get USDC on Base into your wallet:
- Buy on Coinbase and withdraw to Base. If you have a Coinbase account, buy USDC and withdraw it directly to your wallet on the Base network. Coinbase supports Base withdrawals natively, no bridge needed.
- Bridge from Ethereum mainnet. If you already hold USDC on Ethereum mainnet, use a bridge like the official Base bridge to move it to Base.
- Swap into USDC on Base. If you hold other tokens on Base (or another network with a bridge), use any Base-compatible DEX (Uniswap, Aerodrome, etc.) to swap into USDC.
Once USDC shows up in your wallet on Base, you're ready to sit down.
In-app onramp
A built-in path to buy USDC with a card or bank account inside Stacked is on the way. When it ships, this page will walk through the in-app flow.
